Problems in industry

Post by sumaiyaafrin »

Italy has one vending machine for every 145 people, while Germany is the most popular among European countries. However, both countries lag behind Japan, which has one machine for every 25 people.

Llewellyn says more and more vending machines are now accepting cashless payments. In the UK, for example, 47% of them offer this service, double the number from a year ago. And the machines are also becoming smarter, connecting to central control systems, making it easier to refill them with the right products.

Some products are better suited to this sales format than others. For example, perfumes can be shipped in concentrated form and then reconstituted in a machine.

Andrea Goswell, commercial director of vending machine manufacturer Westomatic, claims that bottling drinks in reusable bottles reduces plastic waste.

The Hydration Station from Westomatic lets you fill your bottle b2b email list with chilled, triple-filtered juices. There's no need to press a button to start the machine—just pull your finger toward it.

In January 2017, a ban on the use of the most popular refrigerant R134a came into effect in Europe. The thing is that it is a greenhouse gas, one gram of which can heat the atmosphere as much as 1410 g of carbon dioxide.

This has become a major problem for the vending machine industry. Manufacturers are now switching to carbon dioxide, which is more environmentally friendly but operates at five times the pressure of gas in previous systems.
